FAQ

What is the purpose of the "Demo Mode" feature in some Kawai apps?

Apps & SoftwarePianoRemote

A

The "Demo Mode" function available in some Kawai apps allows customers to check the functionality of an app without needing to connect to a Kawai digital/hybrid piano.

Please note that changes made while the app's "Demo Mode" function is active will not be reflected to the piano itself. Moreover, any settings will be reset upon exiting the app.

Depending on the app, you may find that the functionality available in "Demo Mode" is more or less than the actual functionality when connected to a Kawai digital/hybrid piano.  For example, when the PianoRemote app is launched in "Demo Mode", the available functionality (no. of sounds etc, settings etc.) will be that of a CA9x-class instrument, and therefore greater than if connected to lower specification instrument such as one of the KDP models.
