On certain Kawai digital piano models, the damper (right) pedal function is disabled during Demo song playback. This is the normal, intended specification of the instrument and not a bug/issue.
The behaviour is present on the following Kawai digital piano models:
CN Series: CN301, CN39, CN37, CN35, CN34
DG Series: DG30
ES Series: ES920, ES520, ES8, ES7
To re-enable the damper (right) pedal function, please exit the Demo Song mode.
