FAQ

Is it possible to use the ES110's HML-1 stand and F-350 triple pedal board with the ES120?

ConnectivityDigital PianosPedals

A

The ES120 portable digital piano is the successor the popular ES110 model. These instruments can be combined with the following matching stand and triple pedal board accessories:

ES120: HML-2 stand, F-351 triple pedal board
ES110: HML-1 stand, F-350 triple pedal board

Please note, however, that it is unfortunately not possible to use the stand and triple pedal board accessories designed for one ES model with those intended for another. For example, the ES120 cannot be used with the HML-1 stand, nor can the ES110 be used with the F-351 triple pedal board.

Stand design compatibility

In addition to dimensional differences (the ES110 and its accessories are a little wider than the ES120), the HML-1 stand has slanted panels which match the contoured sides of the ES110 body.  By contrast, the HML-2 stand uses flat edged panels which attach directly to the underside of the ES120 body.

ES110 + HML-1 stand: slanted edges
ES110 + HML-1 stand: slanted edges
ES120 + HML-2 stand: slanted edges
ES120 stand + HML-2 stand: flat edges

Triple pedal compatibility

Alongside the dimensional differences noted above, and confirmed in this specification table comparison, the HML-1/F-350 are wider than the HML-2/F-351. Furthermore, the triple pedal accessories designed for the ES110 and ES120 also use different, incompatible connectors, with the F-350 triple pedal board utilising an older rectangular connector and the F-351 triple pedal board utilising a round DIN connector (which is also used for the GFP-3 triple unit).
