Apps running on my Android 13 device are unable to connect to my digital/hybrid piano via Bluetooth MIDI, what should I do?

Please note, this issue has been resolved in PianoRemote v1.1.4, PiaBookPlayer v1.1.3, and AURES Music v1.0.2.  Customers experiencing issues with these apps on devices running Android 13 (or later) should visit the Google Play Store to update to the latest versions.



It has been confirmed that, when launched from an Android 13 device, the PianoRemote, PiaBookPlayer, and AURES Music apps are currently unable to connect to the digital/hybrid piano via Bluetooth MIDI.

Kawai is aware of this Android 13 compatibility issue, and is currently taking steps to resolve the matter.

Until this compatibility issue has been addressed, Kawai kindly requests that customers connect the Android 13 device to their digital/hybrid piano via USB-MIDI cable, or use an Android 12 (or earlier) or iOS device to continue connecting via Bluetooth MIDI.
