MP11SE/MP7SE Stage Piano software update v1.04 released
Kawai Japan has issued a software update for the MP11SE/MP7SE Stage Pianos.
This recommended v1.04 update improves Reverb handling when changing SETUPs, and fixes an issue on the MP7SE whereby the Tonewheel Simulator Percussion sound did not respond to SysEx change messages.
The full MP11SE/MP7SE v1.04 update changelog is shown below:
– Improved: Reverb no longer momentarily mutes when re-selecting the same Reverb Type (e.g. when changing SETUP).
– Fixed: Tonewheel Simulator Percussion sound did no change when SysEx message was received. [MP7SE only]
MP11SE/MP7SE owners are encouraged to update their instruments to use this latest software version. We also recommend that users backup any custom settings, SOUNDs, SETUPs, etc. before applying the update.

Note that Kawai software updates are cumulative, i.e. the v1.04 update includes any fixes and improvements provided with all previous versions.
