ES920, ES520 portable digital piano software update v1.11 released

Software Update v1.11 for the ES920 and ES520 digital pianos.

Kawai Japan has issued a software update for the ES920 and ES520 digital pianos.

This recommended v1.11 software update fixes a potential issue with the F-10H damper pedal on both models, and implements a few other fixes/improvements for the ES920 specifically.

The full ES920 and ES520 v1.11 software update changelogs are shown below:



ES920

V1.11 (April 2021)

– Fixed: Notes could sustain indefinitely in certain circumstances when using the F-10H damper pedal.
– Fixed: No sound would be produced with certain combinations of User EQ and EQ fader settings.
– Fixed: Selecting the “Open3” Topboard value (Virtual Technician) would not affect the sound.
– Added: Support for reading Recorder songs and Registration files saved from the ES8.

ES520
V1.11 (April 2021)

– Fixed: Notes could sustain indefinitely in certain circumstances when using the F-10H damper pedal.



ES920 and ES520 owners are encouraged to update their instrument to use this latest software.
