Regarding Potential Unauthorised Network Access at Kawai America Corporation
On May 6, 2026 (Pacific Time), we identified a potential unauthorised access incident involving certain systems at our U.S. subsidiary, Kawai America Corporation.
Upon detection, we promptly took steps to contain the incident, including isolating affected systems from the network. Systems have since been restored, and normal operations have resumed. We have also implemented additional security measures and enhanced our monitoring capabilities.
At this time, we have not identified any evidence of unauthorised disclosure of information. An investigation into the scope and root cause of the incident is currently ongoing. We will provide updates as appropriate as additional information becomes available.
