MP11/MP7 Stage Piano software update v1.16 released
Kawai Japan has issued a software update for the MP11/MP7 Stage Pianos.
This recommended v1.16 update reduces noise that could occur when playing piano sounds with pianissimo, removes the "pop" noise that could occur when changing the SUB3 (MP7 only) zone EFX, and also improves the keyboard's key switch detection.
The full MP11/MP7 v1.16 update changelogs are shown below:
– Improved: Removed slight reverb noise which could occur when a piano sound was played with pianissimo in rare cases.
– Improved: Removed “pop” noise which could occur when changing SUB3 zone's EFX type in rare cases. (MP7 only)
– Improved: Reliability of keyboard action key switch detection.
MP11/MP7 owners are encouraged to update their instruments to use this latest software version. We also recommend that users backup any custom settings, SOUNDs, SETUPs, etc. before applying the update.

Note that Kawai software updates are cumulative, i.e. the v1.16 update includes any fixes and improvements provided with all previous versions.
